Synopsis
After acquiring provisions for his family, a man faces hardship and struggles to survive on his journey home.
Statement from Filmmaker
When I got the idea for Plight, it was during a time when I felt overworked while trying to provide for my family. Everything felt grueling because I was trying to make ends meet and I was losing the passion for doing the thing I loved- filmmaking. This short film was a way to combat those feelings, to make a small project that I was excited about, and also explore themes about hardship in life, the struggle to get through, and how immutable it all seems to be.
