Film Set Demonstration Big Hit
For the third time, the SDFF featured a film set demonstration with gear provided by Spectrum Films of Sioux Falls, SD. Students and filmmakers had the opportunity to handle professional grade equipment which included HD cameras and the revolutionary RED camera system. Labyrinth Films of Aberdeen provided the RED camera and accouterments for the students to handle.

Each year, festival organizers try to provide a setting for students and festival goers to get their hands on “Hollywood-grade” movie making equipment. In 2008 representatives from Sennheiser demonstrated microphone technology, and Sanyo brought a “yet to be released” HD video projector.
Crow Ridge Productions out of the Black Hills was also on hand the last two years to assit with the set up and demonstration of the film gear.

The Film set demo was awesome…wish we had even more time to “play”. Thanks for the opportunity!
