Shorts Submissions
South Dakota Film Festival is looking for short films for this year's event. Emphasis will be given to submissions made in or by filmmakers from the Great Plains region (SD, MN, ND, IA, WY, NE). Click here to download application and rules.
Important Dates
Submissions open: June 15th
Submissions close: July 31st
Late submission deadline: August 15th
Fees
Each short film submission must be accompanied by a $20 entry fee.
Entry fee may be paid by Cashier's Check, Money Order or Credit Card.
Cashier's Check and Money Orders are payable to "Aberdeen Film Society." NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Eligibility
Shorts must be between 4 and 20 minutes in length including all images, credits and sound.
Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. If under the age of 18, entries must include written parental consent.

Film and completed submission form must be recieved by 11:59 PM on July 31st, 2007.

3 screener copies of the film must be submitted on DVD formatted for multi-zone or Zone 1 (North America). Widescreen format preferred.

Each DVD must be labeled with Producer, Director and/or Production Company and contact information.

Any promotional material including stills, behind the scenes images or footage, trailers, press kit materials.

Signed application form and entry fee (Cashier's Check, Money Order or Credit Card).
